1. Simple structure and high reliability. Compared to traditional motors, permanent magnet motors have a very simple structure. Due to the absence of components such as armature windings and commutators, the failure rate during operation is much lower than other types of motors.
2. High average efficiency. The efficiency of permanent magnet motors is higher than traditional motors because permanent magnet motors eliminate armature resistance losses and iron losses.
3. Low temperature rise. Due to the use of permanent magnet materials as the magnetic source, permanent magnet motors do not require excitation current, thereby reducing current loss and temperature rise inside the motor.
4. The motor has a small volume and light weight. Due to the simple structure of permanent magnet motors, they are smaller in size and lighter in weight than traditional motors, making them more suitable for applications with strict requirements for size and weight.
5. High power factor. Due to the phase angle between the current and power of permanent magnet motors being close to zero, the power factor is higher and more energy-efficient.
