On August 5, 2024, a 430,000 N.m ultra-large torque permanent magnet direct-drive motor was ready for use in Tai'an, Shandong Province, to intelligently drive a long-distance, high-capacity belt conveyor in a large metal open-pit mine, creating a new engine for high-quality green productivity and large-scale equipment renewal to promote the green and high-quality development of the national economy.

This product is developed by Shandong Ouruian Electric Co., Ltd., a third batch of specialized, refined, and new "little giant" enterprises in China and a national intellectual property advantage enterprise. The motor diameter is 2.8m and the motor weight is 34.3t. It is the first ultra high torque permanent magnet motor to be applied in the high-end equipment field of belt conveyors.
